MARsite Endusers Meeting & Press Conference

The project results were shared with end user and members of the press in a meeting that took place in Istanbul. A wide range of end users from municipalities, gas distribution companies, the military, transportation systems etc were present at the meeting.

The meeting received a strong media coverage. 12 national newspapers and 3 local newspapers reported the results of the project. In 8 of the newspapers the MARsite Project made the first page. This has enables the project results to reach 4.419.180 people. There were 166 articles published on the internet regarding the results that were shared in the meeting. Furthermore 19 television programs in major national channels were broadcasted some with live interviews with the project coordinator.

MARsite Final Meeting

The Final Meeting of the MARSite project was held in Vienna, Austria on the 22nd of April, 2016 with the attendance members of the Consortium and guest speakers Kuvvet Atakan on EPOS IP and Michele Manunta- on the main characteristics and features of GEP and its integration within the TCS-Satellite Data of EPOS.

This brochure is designed and formatted to be read by anyone, and especially the non-experts. It includes didactical illustrations and every writer and contributor can be reached for more info.

Marsite Midterm Review Meeting

The MARsite Project Milestone 4 and Midterm Review meeting took place in Rome, Italy, on the 6th and 7th of May 2014. 55 participants from MARsite Consortium attended the meeting.

Prof. Nurcan Meral Ozel, Coordinator of MARsite opened the Milestone Meeting. Then followed the presentations of the WP Leaders and task leaders with Q&A Sessions. Day 2 was dedicated to partner meetings and discussions regarding the scientific outcomes of the MARsite Project.

2015 EGU

The EGU General Assembly took place between the 12^th and 17^th of April 2015. There were 4,870 oral, 8,489 poster,and 705 PICO presentations. 577 unique scientific sessions together with 310 side events created an interesting programme. At the conference 11,837 scientists from 108 co untries participated, of which 23% were students. The MARsite project had a poster presentation.

2014 AGU Fall Meeting
